Questions people ask before they paste the code

Will it break my form?

No. The script only listens. It never stops, changes or slows down your form, and if Formcrier is ever unavailable your form carries on as normal. The emails and entries you get today keep arriving too.

Do I need a WhatsApp Business account?

No. Alerts come from our business number. You scan a QR code with the WhatsApp you already use and send one message to connect.

What about GDPR?

Submissions are stored in the UK and EU, encrypted, and deleted automatically when your plan's history period ends. We never keep passwords or card numbers, the script sets no cookies, and you can export or delete your data at any time.

What if an alert fails?

We try again automatically, and tell you in the dashboard if it still can't be delivered. Your form's own emails keep arriving exactly as before, and every submission is saved with a note of what happened to its alert.

Usually within five seconds of someone pressing submit, whichever channel you use. For WhatsApp and texts, the dashboard shows when each alert was delivered.

Yes. Post each submission to a Slack or Microsoft Teams channel, send it to Telegram, or text it to any UK mobile. Mix them as you like: WhatsApp to you, a text to the engineer on site, and a post in the office channel. Slack, Teams and Telegram are included on every plan and don't count towards your alerts.

Yes. Every form the script finds appears in your dashboard, switched off until you turn it on. Or turn on "Listen to all forms automatically".

Yes. Add a destination for each person or channel, then choose which forms go to whom. On Pro and Agency you can route by what was entered, such as sending boiler enquiries to one engineer.

Yes. The script listens for submissions anywhere on the page, including forms that appear after the page has loaded.

Each WhatsApp message we send counts as one alert, so a submission sent to two phones uses two. A text counts as one alert for every 160 characters, and most alerts fit in one or two. Slack, Teams, Telegram and email alerts don't count, and nor does spam we catch.

Yes. Cancel from Billing and you keep your plan until the end of the period you've paid for, then move to Free.
